There can be times in our life when we think too much about particular things unnecessarily. This thinking keeps running in the background even when we are doing some important work. A lot of overthinking can become the main distraction and leads to anxiety and severe depression.

All the thoughts which we overthink don't happen in reality. I used to think about certain things too much and when I realized it, I would watch youtube videos on overthinking again. Sometimes I used to keep awake until 3 am in the morning. Overthinking at this time can be more powerful because our subconscious mind comes into play while our conscious mind sleeps. So I have found some life hacks to deal with this bad habit. It's really simple when you apply it super intelligently.

First thing first, you have to understand when you go into overthinking mode. Once the flow starts just observe what kind of thoughts are running in your mind. Let the thoughts come and go because it never stays for a long time. Your mind has limited capacity and your thoughts are replaceable. yes, you can replace thoughts by adding some new thoughts in the brain. This is how your brain is wired. It's been scientifically proven.

So you can watch a web series that can engage your mind heavily and can eradicate the previous thought process. Every day you have to cut the old thought process and start the new one. You can also watch Instagram reels and enjoy a good time. This works magically in my case. Half an hour on reels makes me refreshed. Also, you can write down something in your diary. You can use a digital one to maintain privacy. Writing makes your thought process cleaner and more focused. You can write by heart and it makes you relaxed.

Also, the most powerful yet underrated hack is listening to music. Listening to music and singing along it can be a game-changer. Your mood flips completely and it literally kills your negativity. One more aspect is dancing to the songs. A Zumba class can also be the best option.

People also talk about Yoga and meditation but I didn't have a good experience with it being a lazy fellow. But a heavy workout and morning walks have made a very good impact on me.
